Annual Charleston Crab Feed

Join your friends from Oregon’s Adventure Coast: Coos Bay, North Bend & Charleston for a feast of delicious Dungeness Crab at the 40th Annual Charleston Crab Feed!

At the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) on Boat Basin Road from 11am to 3pm, 63466 Boat Basin Road, Charleston, OR 97420 - across from the Charleston Marine Life Center in the Marina Complex.

More than 900 pounds of Fresh Dungeness Crab will be served. Dinners - whole or half crabs at market price - include side dishes and a roll. Add a dessert for the perfect Oregon Coast meal, provided for donation by the Charleston Fishing Families. Area businesses provide items for raffle drawings. For those who want to attend but don’t want to eat crab, a gourmet hot dog lunch with sides will also be available.

Enjoy delicious desserts served by the Charleston Fishing Families, with all proceeds supporting their vital organization. Dive into fascinating exhibits at the Charleston Marine Life Center, which will be open ALL DAY! Plus, learn more about local marine life and conservation efforts from South Slough Estuary and the Oregon Crab Commission. There’s something for everyone—plan to spend the whole day enjoying all Charleston has to offer!

This is the Main Fundraiser for the Charleston Visitors Center, but also provides assistance to other needs in the Charleston Community.
