From Jazz to 50’s Rock, the 2023 South Coast Clambake Music Festival Has It All!
It’s been a long three years, but at last - the annual South Coast Clambake Music Festival is coming BACK to rock and roll Oregon’s Adventure Coast: Coos Bay, North Bend, Charleston March 10-12, 2023!
It’s been a while since this popular music festival has happened on Oregon’s South Coast, so we wanted to provide some answers to some of the questions you might have.
Question: What is a clambake? Is this like a food festival with clams?
Answer: No, the South Coast Clambake Music Festival is about the music, not food. “Clambake” is actually an old-time musical term for a “jam session”. But don’t worry, there are plenty of spots around town serving fresh seafood- including some of the best clam dishes you can imagine! You can even dig your own!
Question: Where is it taking place?
Answer: The South Coast Clambake Music Festival takes place in four different venues located in the The Mill Casino • Hotel & RV Park in North Bend. Each venue has a top of the line sound system, dance floor and bar.
Question: What kind of music can we expect?
Answer: The Clambake Music Festival features everything from traditional jazz to 50’s rock, including swing, doo-wop, blues, big band and Zydeco!

Question: Who’s playing?
Answer: The South Coast Clambake Music Festival features bands across the country. A few of the bands that have been announced are Shaymus Hanlin Quartet, Alpha Rhythm Kings, Dave Bennett, Gino & the Lone Gunmen, and The Throttles. For more information, visit clambakemusic.com . Answer: What originally began as the Dixieland Jazz Festival more than 30 years ago has evolved into one of the biggest annual music festivals on the Oregon Coast and offers a wide range of musical styles that will have you up on your feet.
Question: Who is this for?
Answer: Everyone! The Clambake Music Festival is one of the top annual music festivals on the Oregon Coast and brings music fans of all ages from all over the region together for one weekend of music, dancing and fun.
Question: How much is it??
Answer: Tickets range from $15 to attend the Thursday Warm-Up Party to $105 for a full weekend pass (plus fees).
Question: Do I have to buy a weekend pass?
Answer: At $105.00 (+$8.03 fee), the All Event Multi-Day pass is the best deal and gives you unlimited access to all the events throughout the weekend - including the Thursday, March 9th Warm-Up Party. However, if you’re short on time and wish to attend only some of the events, here are some options (please note, price does not include ticketing fees)

Friday March 10th Pass - $35.00
Saturday March 11th ALL DAY Pass - $60.00
Saturday March 11th 10AM to 5PM ONLY- $30.00

Question: Do kids have to pay to get in?
Answer: C hildren 12 and under are free with a Paid Adult. You can purchase a Youth All Event 3 Day Badge for $20.00- Must have a Student ID. Ages 13 to 20 years old.

Answer: Badges are on sale in Ko-Kwel Gifts now through noon on Friday, March 10. Patrons can also access ticketing info here .
