Music Event PhotoThere's something special about Oregon's Adventure Coast that you won't find anywhere else. With a strong Native community, three well established cities, historic and sports aplenty our calendar is full. And we invite you to visit and take part in all we have to offer, any time of year.

While there are so many different festivals and events, we have annual events that draw visitors who know this is the place to be, on the Oregon Coast. Steve Prefontaine, Olympic Champion, and our local hero's all to brief life left a legacy of what you can do if you apply yourself. Every September, you can participate in a Prefontaine Memorial Run that only grows bigger each year. We also have the honor of being the largest manufacturer of wooden ships in the world. To that end, every Spring we fill the harbor with tall ships that create a visual backdrop for a week-long celebration of activities and events.

Beyond that, we have celebrity performers, flora and fauna focused events, family oriented activities, Native American celebrations, culinary, health, sporting and film festivals. What's your adventure? Find it at Oregon's Adventure Coast.

Johnny Winter
181 Anderson Ave, Coos Bay Call 541-267-6622
Show starts at 7pm. Johnny Winter is an American music legend. Since his first appearance on the pages of Rolling Stone in 1968, Johnny has epitomized the fiery and flamboyant rock and roll guitar hero. Yet Johnny has continually returned to the blues roots from which his music sprang. Between 1968 and 1980, he cut fifteen albums that define the blues-rock form, ranging from the raw power of Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo to the subtlety of acoustic Delta blues. His three critically acclaimed Alligator releases, two of which received Grammy nominations, solidified Johnny's presence as one of the top blues artists in the world. www.TheGreenSpotEntertainment.com
